A Dream Team and Micro-Roastery Fueled by Clean Energy

We made some significant progress in August! Our renovation continued and we began our search for a store manager and head roaster. Our vision is to have a soft opening in Fall/Winter 2023 and a grand opening in Summer 2024. I am excited to share some details on our progress this month!

Start Each Day with Pura Vida! Exploring Costa Rican Coffee

In March, I had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica. My trip was focused on learning about Costa Rica’s culture and the history of its coffee industry, along with selecting some beautiful coffee for you all to enjoy in 2023! Costa Rica’s geography provides ideal conditions for growing coffee, and its farmers have long been dedicated to producing high-quality beans.

Join Us on the Fourth Wave of Coffee!

The term “coffee waves” was coined in the early 2000s, and defines coffee movements as waves of mass production and distribution. Each wave marks a significant shift in the global coffee industry. As of today, there are four defined waves and we are technically on the back end of the 3rd wave, entering the 4th.

Caring for Those Who Care for Us

I’d like to reflect on this past year, spotlight the El Salvador coffee industry and a non-profit we are supporting with our impact giving. Finally, I want to give special thanks to the advisors, partners, and customers who made our first year possible!

Join the movement, and together, let's build a better world.

The past few weeks have been incredibly motivational, as I spent time with organizations that are reimagining a world where business is used as a force for good. From attending my first Champions Retreat in Philadelphia to UW-Madison's ERBN consulting team presenting their findings and recommendations, my appreciation for the progress we are making continues to grow.

Coffee Inspired by You, Our Producers, and the Beauty of Nature

Of our coffee roasts so far this year, our first was celebrating our first producer, Carlos Pola from El Salvador. It was a light roast called “Founders’ Microlot” and it presented all the amazing fruity flavors and aromas of the origin. It was well received—in fact, our customers wanted more! More origins presented through light, medium, and dark roast levels. So we listened…
