Celebrating Small Miracles This Holiday Season

In November, we experienced a few small miracles at Bear Lake Coffee Co.

We fine-tuned our water system for water quality, mineral content, and pH level and consistency. Superior water quality is the cornerstone of the art and science of excellent coffee brewing. We also installed our La Marzocco espresso machines, a feat that left me more excited than a kid on Christmas morning!

When a La Marzocco consultant texted me the video of the very first shot of espresso pouring from our La Marzocco Linea PB at Barronett Coffeehouse & Roastery, I was filled with gratitude. I wanted to share this milestone with everyone—check out the video.

I asked the consultant, "How did it taste?" He responded, "It was terrible…." He smiled and then said, "It took me five more tries to dial in the grind size, dose, pressure, extraction time, temperature, and yield to pull the perfect shot."

The anticipation of our soft opening next year is mounting, and we can't wait to start serving everyone award-winning coffees to savor and enjoy!
