Autumn Reflections: Pursuing Perfection in Wisconsin’s North Woods
Hello, Everyone!
Mid-October showcased the colors of Wisconsin’s North Woods at their most vibrant. The crisp fall air and the autumn colors have been spectacular this year.
We’ve made significant progress over the past month. We’re close to completing our micro-roastery space as we continue to search for our dream team.
Additionally, our solar system has been activated, and we were thrilled to ship our coffee club members a special single-origin, pre-release coffee drop. It’s been a busy and fulfilling month!
Building the Dream Team: An Update on Our Journey
In October, we made significant headway by committing to a top-notch Head Roaster, who will start as our “Head of Coffee” early next year. The search for our Store Manager continues. With a few shifts in our plans, we’re now targeting a soft opening in early 2024, culminating in a grand opening celebration by Summer 2024. We believe finding the right founding team members is not a race. We’re dedicated to taking the time needed to assemble the right dream team.
Micro-roastery space… a work of art!
We’re thrilled to share that our micro-roastery enclosure is almost complete! Check out the picture to see the magic unfold. A special shout-out to D.P. Juza Woods & Fixtures team for their unparalleled craftsmanship and obvious dedication to making this space perfect. The quality of their work is set to make our micro-roastery one of the most unique and special in the world.

Our commitment to renewable energy
In our continued efforts to do better for the planet, we’ve fully commissioned our net metered solar system with Xcel Energy. Have a look. Generating renewable power is something we’re deeply proud of. It’s not every day you come across a coffeehouse harnessing the sun’s energy in such a profound way. It underscores our commitment to not just serving great coffee, but to playing our part in preserving and protecting our planet.

Pre-release samples sent to all coffee club members
Being a coffee club member (subscriber) comes with perks! As a subscriber, you’re not just a customer; you’re a valued part of our community. Closing remarks
As winter draws nearer and I look back on the last six months, our unwavering pursuit of perfection in Barronett, WI, is a highlight. As the year has progressed, this dedication has become a contagious drive within our community. A quote from the iconic Green Bay Packers coach, Vince Lombardi, echoes in my mind:
“Perfection is not attainable. But if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”

This sentiment reminds us that our true strength lies not in reaching perfection, but in the journey towards it. It’s about the process and the growth, and I cherish every step of this shared adventure with all of you.
