Traditional Kenyan Coffees historically offer some of the deepest bodied offerings on the market. This washed Kenya AA, from Baragwi Guama is no exception, and embodies the deep and dark fruits that we desire in our Kenyan Cups. Securing coffee from Kenya is always a challenge as import and export laws out of the country are very complex. We however are happy to share that with this lot we were able to work with our US Importer to secure farm gate transparency and pricing. Please see the full transparency report below:
This cup boasts a large, maple syrup type body, with bright sparkling acidity. Bold and beautiful tones of blackberry and papaya drive the cup, supported by a dark chocolate and caramel base. Hints of citrus (lime in particular) help being the cup to a crisp finish.

Soo I’m no coffee snob, but I will say the “mouth-feel” is good and not overly acidic. Making its so easy to drink. For sure a far cry from the usual medium/ dark roast I buy. Would totally recommend if you’re looking for something new. You know it’s good coffee when you accidentally make it a bit weak and it’s still good~
