Great Day - Brazil
It’s our way of wishing you a Great Day. This balanced coffee is crisp and leaves you feeling delighted and uplifted to live life to the fullest!
The Science Behind Great Day
A medium roast will typically be a little sweeter than a light roast due to the caramelization process that occurs during roasting. Our medium roast has more body and a balanced acidity while still preserving the origin’s flavours and aromas. This medium roast presentation will appeal to our broadest range of coffee drinkers.

Origin Story
Meet Ivan e Rose Santos; we hope you enjoy their Reserva coffee! Reserva coffee comes from the top selection of a single farm cultivated in an artisanal way. It’s carefully handcrafted during all phases of the process by a single family.
Ivan married the ‘girl from (the valley) next door’ and brought her to the mountain his family has lived on for almost 40 years. Three of his siblings have built on their father’s legacy and are busy expanding the family name and quality coffee reputation around the mountain they call home. Ivan, the youngest son, started his own farm on the other side of the mountain and called it Sitio Seriema. He and his wife Rose, from the neighboring valley’s Jacon family, are set to create their own new coffee tradition.
Respect for the environment is key here, as anyone will notice immediately upon talking to the couple. They are at the top of the mountain where many of the area’s natural water springs rise, including those that serve their neighbors and the local town of Caconde. The responsibility for protecting these priceless resources is something Ivan and Rose take very seriously. This is the water that feeds their farm and irrigates the organic vegetable garden that feeds their family too.
Ivan and Rose, the lovebirds of Sitio Seriema, have married much more than each other; they are bringing the story of the mountain, written by their families over the past three generations, into the future.
Verified Clean
Coffee is one of the most chemically treated crops in the world. We perform a third-party test on every lot of coffee we purchase to ensure that it is free of toxins, metals, moulds and agrichemicals. Choosing to drink a clean cup can be better for your health and the health of the communities that grow and harvest coffee beans. This lot of coffee was tested and verified by an independent third-party testing organization.
