Finding higher end coffee from Indonesia can be a feat as most of the newer farming techniques have not been adopted in this part of the Coffee Belt. After almost a year of searching, we have selected our first Sumatra Crop. Grown at an elevation of 1500msl and processed as a dry Natural, this cup pushes against the musty, earthy tones usually present in Sumatran Coffee.
Instead, we have found, and produced from Pendi Farms, a highly unique and berry driven natural resembling an African Cup. Large bodied and a full mouthfeel feel covered in berries make this is delightful experience. A wine like finishing make this an amazing dessert style coffee, pairing fantastic with chocolates. We have a smaller amount of this coffee for its first run, but have hopes of sourcing more amazing coffees like this in the years to come from our partners at Pendi Farms.
