Direct Trade: We know the people who produce our coffee. We source directly from farmers and pay prices driven by quality. We seek to cultivate long-term partnerships with every person in our process.

Eco-friendly Packaging: We are working to utilize sustainable materials in every area possible, including our packaging. Our 12 oz coffee bags are compostable and can be disposed of through recycling and composting practices after you receive and enjoy our coffee. We are continually looking to incorporate eco-friendly practices into our coffee bags and mailer materials.

Regenerative Agriculture: We know that regenerative agriculture is a critical tool for mitigating climate change. Climate volatility has massive implications for global coffee production and is affecting farmers today. We work with farmers who are focused on soil health and aligned with our goals to sequester carbon in the soil.

B Corp certification: From our founding, we have decided to pursue the path of B Corp certification. The process of B Corporation certification is done through B Lab, and companies are evaluated on all areas of the business – not just the ones that affect the bottom line. It is a framework to formally consider how we run our business and its impact on workers, the environment, and the communities where we operate and source our coffee.

Our Promise

We believe in delivering coffee that is best for the planet and for you. Our report outlines the progress toward our goals of working directly with sustainable farmers, employing third-party testing, using eco-friendly packaging, and minimizing the carbon footprint of our roasting process. As we provide you with exceptional coffee, we want to ensure we are incorporating sustainable and regenerative practices that keep you – and the planet – healthy.

  • Farming

Regenerative agriculture is a conservation and rehabilitation approach to food and farming systems. It is a critical tool for increasing resilience to climate change and strengthening the health and vitality of farm soil. Climate volatility has massive implications for global coffee production, and this sustainable method of farming focuses on topsoil regeneration, increasing biodiversity, improving the water cycle, enhancing ecosystem services, and supporting biosequestration.

We work exclusively with sustainably minded farmers in a direct-trade relationship. Our farmers are committed to the highest standards for growing specialty coffee. We source from high-altitude communities worldwide to discover exceptionally clean and pure beans that are ethically grown using regenerative farming practices to protect the environment.

    • Copper
    • Gluten - Wheat, Rye, & Barley
    • Homogenization
    • Glyphosate
    • Heavy Metals

This party maintains registrations, certifications, and accreditations that meet each unique set of industry standards. All are accredited to the ISO 17025 or equivalent standard.

  • Packaging

We work with sustainable materials in our coffee bags. Our 12 oz coffee bags are compostable and can be disposed of through recycling and composting practices after you receive and enjoy our coffee. We are continually looking to incorporate eco-friendly practices into our coffee bags and mailer materials.

  • Roasting

We are currently evaluating opening a Wisconsin-based roastery in 2023. We are committed to being carbon neutral when this happens and plan to minimize our carbon footprint by implementing a combination of energy-efficiency building design coupled with solar power.
