This 95-point coffee is a rare experimental nano lot from third-generation producer Carlos Pola, uniting Panama's Geisha and Kenya's SL-28 in Salvadoran volcanic soil. Processed Kenyan-style on raised beds, it delivers a wine-like cup of narcissus florals, mulberry, pineapple and sugarcane sweetness with sparkling acidity and a plush, syrupy finish.

This is not the tamest, nor the wildest coffee I have ever had. It is, however, an extremely well-balanced cup with nice acidity and hardly any bitterness when you get it right. I wouldn't go as far as describing it as juicy, but it does have a nice mouth feel. Brewed it in my V60 with Lance Hendrick's latest one-and-done recipe, slightly coarse, with a drawdown of ~2:30.

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day, and this is seriously one of THE BEST coffees I’ve ever had. I wish it was mine, lol. The passion fruit flavor is so so good. And the roast is perfect.
